Studio Visit with Kanak Chanpa Chakma
One of the exciting ways to discover artists is to see them in their natural habitat at their studios. To help get to know Kanak Chanpa Chakma, we share her works-in-progress, learn about what inspires them, and see their work on an easel or stacked up against studio walls. These were taken in 2010.
Like these, many of Kanak Chanpa Chakma's paintings are of the Chakma people, an ethnic group concentrated in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh.
We liked it so much the first time we went back the next year.
